Feeling connoisseur!
So I spent 10 days in Paris last April and since macarons are the love of my tongue, my sisters and I tasted the more popular ones and others, we just found while going around. From best to…. possibly not the worst. Will not get into detail because I’m too lazy =))
1. Laduree & Jean Paul Hevin
Jean Paul Hevin’s flavor combinations are just… heaven. Yes, mostly for the flavor combinations and the bite. Real chewy on the inside and just the right amount of crunch on the outside.

Laduree!! Best packaging —you can choose from a variety of the cutest boxes ever! They also sell bag charms (of course we bought every color) =)) Like Jean Paul Hevin, the chewiness and crunchiness are more than perfect :( MUST TRY flavors: Orange blossom and salted caramel. Literally heaven on your tongue.

2. Pierre Herme
Honestly not a big fan of Pierre Herme but you gotta give ‘em credit for those wild flavors. Olive oil, green tea… and the rest, I forgot cause I’m a traditional kinda gal.

3. Fauchon
See that golden one over there? That’s the only thing I remember about Fauchon. The only hazelnut + chocolate macaron I ate and it was goooood. The other flavors, I do not remember because well… there wasn’t much to remember about them. =))

4. Maison Larnicol & that other brand
Hmmm….. both are grocery-brand-ish.
